Air heater or coolant heater?
Air heater
An air heater warms the air in the cab or load space directly. Ideal for trucks, vans, motorhomes and boats, and also for keeping loads free from frost and damp.

Coolant heater
A coolant heater warms the engine coolant. The warm coolant flows through the vehicle's own heater to the interior and then to the engine. Your car is warm, the windows are clear and the engine starts with warm coolant.

230 V heaters
Do you have a power socket near your parking space at home or at work? Then electric pre-heating from DEFA is an economical alternative. An engine heater pre-warms the coolant, an interior heater keeps the cab warm, and with a fixed connector in the bumper you simply plug in.

Benefits
- No frozen or misted windows, so you have clear visibility straight away
- A warm cab and warm seats when you get in
- Less engine wear and lower emissions, because the engine starts warm
- Control by remote, smartphone app or timer
